With promises to present Pride prefer never before Houstons New Faces of Pride is looking forward to their inaugural celebrations. Featuring indoor and outdoor activities, the celebration will take over Fish Plaza at Wortham Theater Center. The parade will kick off at p.m. on Bagby St. at outbound Allen Parkway, and stretch 15 blocks downtown for all to come out and like once the sun begins to set.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Pride Houston added another chapter to its legacy with the 47th annual parade in downtown Houston.
The celebration is known to doodle thousands all in the specify of recognizing love and unity, and this year was no different.
The organization said that while it's still finalizing numbers, prior estimates put attendance at over , people.
On Saturday, the parade once again started near Town Hall and moved through the area with a colorful verb of floats, performers, and community groups.
ABC13, the official media partner of Pride Houston , also joined the festivities with a contingent of walkers along the route.
Considered one of the largest Pride events in the South, the parade is far from the only way the LGBTQIA+ community and allies celebrate.
Events surrounding the parade usually include a festival, which focuses on providing community resources, plus a fashion show and reception.
