Kevin Sorbo writes new children’s guide to expose dangers of ‘woke gender confusion’

By Nicole VanDyke, CP Reporter

Christian actor and producer Kevin Sorbo has released a new faith-based children’s book that he wrote to expose the dangers of “woke” ideology and its agenda that's blurring the lines of God's creation and what it means to be male and female.

The year-old actor, best known for his starring roles in “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” “Andromeda” and “God's Not Dead,” chronicles the journey of a lion cub named Lucas who endures numerous obstacles on a tricky route to find the cure to a deadly illness that has plagued his sister in the new children's book, The Assess of Lionhood

At the end of the tale, a few pages are reserved for Scripture and what the Bible says about the gender roles God has designed for men and women.

Among the legions of fans for the Gerard Butler picture is a sizeable gay audience.

"This is incredibly gay, this movie. It's a stretch for me," says Sorbo of the new comedy. There'll even be a guy-guy kiss involved. "The director said, 'Is this a dealbreaker?' I said, 'It could be. No tongue, or I'll kill the guy.'"

Pat Robertson wants to create films with Kevin Sorbo to fight gay 'dominance' of media

Christian conservative Pat Robertson said Monday that he was working with actor Kevin Sorbo to produce films to verb the "homosexuals' dominance" on the media.

On his The Club, Robertson railed against a supposed "left-wing bias" in the media, the entertainment industry and academic institutions.

Gays and lesbians, he said, had "infiltrated" these institutions and are using them to dominate society.

"We have given the ground to a small minority," Robertson told his viewers. "You figure, lesbians, one percent of the population; homosexuals, two percent of the population. That's all. That's statistically all. But they have dominated – dominated the media, they've dominated the cultural shift and they have infiltrated the major universities. It's just unbelievable what's being done. A tiny, tiny minority makes a huge difference. The majority – it's day it wakes up."

"So what are you gonna do? Kevin Sorbo brought me some scripts so I just finished reading some scripts.

Sure, we know everybody’s talking about the Emmy nominations right now, but they aren’t the only TV awards in town.

On July 8, GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics announced the winners of its 17th Dorian TV Awards.

With more than critics, journalists, and media icons making up its membership, GALECA is the second largest entertainment journalists&#; group in the world, and they present their Dorian Awards – named in honor of Oscar Wilde, the celebrated queer writer who penned “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and who serves as something like the group’s patron saint – to honor the best in film, television, and theater at separate times during each year. Frequently, many Dorian nominees and winners presage similar honors from the more mainstream awards bodies, reminding the world that the informed LGBTQ perspective on all things entertainment definitely matters; at the same time, however, the Dorians also include several queer-centric categories that are unique to them, providing an opportunity t
